New Life without HIV

International Academic Journal Publishes
Thai Research Described as a Historic Milestone
in Global HIV/AIDS Treatment

On October 10, 2026, the journal Clinical Immunology & Research published an article entitled “Confirmation of HIV Cure with Stem Cell Stimulation by Fortified Mangosteen Extract: Long-Term Follow-Up of Three of 100 Previously Reported Cases.” According to the article, a Thai research team from Prince of Songkla University, Chiang Mai University, and Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Chiang Mai, investigated a fortified mangosteen extract combined with extracts of black sesame, guava, soybean, and gotu kola. The researchers reported that this combination was intended to stimulate stem cells as a means of addressing HIV/AIDS infection, a challenge for which, the article asserts, no conveniently administered innovation has yet provided a solution. Since the identification of AIDS in 1981 and HIV in 1983, antiretroviral therapy has helped suppress viral replication in the body and prevent deaths associated with increasing viral burden. However, the article notes that such treatment does not completely eliminate the virus. Moreover, when adverse effects occur, treatment cannot simply be discontinued because viral replication may rapidly resume; consequently, antiretroviral therapy generally requires lifelong administration.

The research team therefore adopted what it describes as an unconventional approach: combining nutritional extracts to achieve synergistic effects and enhance the body’s intrinsic biological defenses through the stimulation of endogenous stem cells, which the researchers propose can proliferate rapidly. The team reported refining the combined formulation to stimulate hematopoietic stem cells and promote their differentiation into immune cells, including Th1 cells, Th17 cells, and killer T cells. According to the researchers, these immune cells selectively target HIV-infected CD4 cells without producing adverse effects on the body’s healthy cells. The team further proposed that rapid expansion of these immune-cell populations could generate sufficient immune activity to eliminate large numbers of HIV-infected CD4 cells, ultimately leaving no residual HIV in the body.

At the same time, the researchers stated that the fortified mangosteen-extract formulation also stimulates tissue stem cells to generate substantial numbers of new tissue cells, thereby supporting the repair and regeneration of bodily structures that have deteriorated or been damaged by HIV infection. They reported that this process could restore the body to a normal state of health and strength. The team additionally claimed that higher doses of the extract formulation could improve physical condition beyond its previous level, with rejuvenating and anti-aging effects.

The research team first presented this work in 2024 at the Science and Technology Conference of Thailand under the title “ByeBye HIV with Thai Innovation,” reporting successful outcomes in the care of 50 people living with HIV/AIDS. In subsequent years, the researchers reported further successful cases, bringing the total to 100 individuals. In 2025, they published a summary of these reported outcomes in the same journal, Clinical Immunology & Research. In that publication, the researchers maintained that their approach had effectively addressed HIV/AIDS, reporting that HIV had not reappeared for a follow-up period extending to as long as 10 years.

Most recently, the team reported what it described as confirmation that the fortified mangosteen formulation could achieve a cure in people living with HIV. The researchers published interviews with three individuals who reported becoming HIV-free and subsequently serving as advisers, providing guidance on the use of the fortified mangosteen formulation to others seeking similar outcomes. According to the team, the number of individuals involved had exceeded 130 by the time of the latest report. The interviews also explained how interested individuals could access information on the use of the formulation. They were released on YouTube on August 25, 2026, in an episode entitled “HIV Is Really Gone and Never Comes Back! HIV Is Gone for Good!”:

Professor Dr. Pichaet Wiriyachitra, Head of the Operation BIM Research Team and Chief Executive Officer of Asian Phytoceuticals Public Company Limited, stated that, based on the latest academic report, individuals seeking a solution to HIV/AIDS would be able to access this approach. He further characterized the development as a significant step toward making history in the treatment of HIV/AIDS worldwide.
